One of the exciting perks of writing a blog is finding packages at the front door with unique items to test, try out and often times keep. It’s like Christmas for me every day.
This week two boxes arrived that were filled with one of my favorite items to review in the last 6 years.
Land of Nod was kind enough to send me their Jetaire Camper Play Tent and the S’more The Merrier Campfire Set. The official tester was my wife Patricia who set up the set in 5 minutes and my 5 year old daughter Eliana who was elated to arrive home from school and see a beautiful realistic fabric camper occupying our Family Room.
The camper is made of cotton canvas, measures 79″ W x 38.5″D x 46″H and features embroidered and patchwork details such as an awning and curtains that look just like the real thing. The Jetaire Camper Play Tent ($249) features seven windows, an embroidered license plate, logo and patchwork tires.
To enhance your child’s camping playtime Land of Nod also offers the 20 piece S’more The Merrier Campfire Set ($69) which includes 4 plush logs, 14 plush stones, a plush hot dog, a plush marshmallow, 2 roasting sticks and 2 plush fire flames.
My crafty wife purchased a battery operated lighting set at Home Depot for $14 and added it to the ceiling of the camper for nighttime play. Now my daughter only wants to read books and play in her camper. I cannot recommend these items highly enough for their ease of setting up, sturdy construction, fun features and the endless hours of fun and make believe you will share with your children!
